Sometimes I feel this way with two kids…and a dog…and chickens.
This year we added to our lives in some incredible ways. Last February we adopted a rescue dog, Amigo. Mills (our 5 year old daughter) and Amigo are buddies. Amigo holds down the fort. Actually, Amigo mostly tears up packages the post-man drops over the fence. But we still love him. Except for Dee (my wife). Dee tolerates Amigo. In all fairness to Dee, she’s had other priorities. We welcomed our second daughter, Willow Hope, into the world on May 1st. Willow is the chunkiest thing you’ve ever seen. It’s been such a joy to see our kids interact with one another. The girls couldn’t be more opposite, and we couldn’t be more in love with the both of them.
What I’ve been up to in real estate
We’ve slowed down our personal real estate investing over the last 12 months compared to years past. With the addition of Willow, it’s seemed a good time to put the brakes on a bit and not add many additional spinning plates. That said, we added one unit here in Fort Collins, and are continuing to focus on stabilizing the multi-family properties we purchased out of state last year.
